You signed for East Stirlingshire in 2000. Why did you choose this club, and what did you want to achieve with the club?
I signed for East Stirling as they were one of my local professional clubs and were part-time which was important as I was about to start university
Have you played for any other clubs, before signing for East Stirlingshire ?
I have not played for any other professional clubs but did play in the same juvenile team as Derek Ure
Who is your football idol?
When I was younger I was a striker and my favourite player was Eric Cantona, nowadays I’d have to say Steven Gerrard
You have been described by people as a physically gifted, but impetuous player. How do you describe yourself as a footballer?
I would have to agree that I do play with a lot of emotion plus I hate to lose. To describe myself I’d say I’m dedicated and hard working, I’d always put the team first hence I seem to get injured a lot through how I through myself into tackles
At just 23 years of age, what are your dreams and goals for the future?
That’s some question. Football wise I’d love to reach my full potential and stay injury free. The past few years i seem to have picked up a few injuries and i believe it has hindered me. Outside football, just to enjoy myself in what ever I do and hopefully keep progressing in my career
What do you do when not playing for East Stirlingshire?
I work in a chartered accounting office in Edinburgh as a tax accountant, it is probably as boring as it sounds
East Stirlingshire supporterclub of Norway reached over 3000 member in just 3 days. What do you think of having so many fans and people that support you in another country?
It’s strange to think about since we are quite a small club but I do think it’s great the club is gaining support and hopefully we can give you all something to cheer about by putting in better performances next season
